Kings County Jane Doe was an elderly woman who was found wrapped in a tarp near the Homeland canal in southern Kings County, California. There was no trauma to her body or indications of a homicide. Investigators believe she may have died of natural causes, but relatives dumped her body to keep claiming her benefits.
She is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project.

DNA Doe Project has revealed she is 45% European, possibly Spanish and 40% Native American. The rest of her ancestry is Middle Eastern or Scandinavian.
Surnames of interest include; Balvaneda, Delatorre, Garza, Gonzalez, Ochoa, Martinez, Pedraza, Valdez, DesJarlais and Cardinal.
Places of interest include California, Montana, Oklahoma, Mexico or Canada.
Characteristics[]
- Gray or graying blonde hair.
- Absence of teeth, with preparation for dentures but none found.
- Severe osteoporosis likely resulting in a hunched posture when walking.
- Old nose fracture possibly causing a slight curve to the left.
- Old pelvic fracture, likely caused by severe trauma.
