Marcella Cheri "Marci" Bachmann, known as "Debbie Deer Creek" while unidentified, was one of three victims of suspected serial killer Wayne Nance. Prior to her murder, she had traveled from Washington to Montana, where she became romantically involved with Nance, using the alias “Robin.” She was identified in 2006. The third and final Jane Doe was later confirmed to be Janet Lucas in 2021.

Case[]

Bachmann's brother recalled he and Marci grew up in a dysfunctional household. Marci ran away from home sometime in 1984; she was last seen in Nance’s company on September 28, 1984, while using the “Robin” alias. Her body found on Christmas of that year. She had been shot twice in the head.

After her identification, investigators found out that serial killer Wayne Nance had picked Marci up after she ran away. She lived with him for some time and used the alias Robin. Nance told people he knew that Marci had left him in September 1984, which was when it is believed she was killed. Nance was killed in self defence before he could be charged for his crimes.
