|Disappeared||July 7, 1973|
|Missing for||45 years|
Megan Siobhan Emerick was an Alaskan teenager who went missing in 1973 from a boarding school. It is believed that she could be a victim of Robert Hansen, who killed many women in Alaska during the 1970s and early 1980s. He denied involvement in Megan's disappearance.
Megan was last seen leaving her dormitory after doing her laundry. She left all of her belongings behind, indicating she did not vanish voluntarily and it is believed she was murdered. She was reported three days later.
Robert Hansen admitted he was in the area when she disappeared, yet he denied killing her. Hansen's early victims, during the early 1970s tended to be girls in their late teens who were not sex workers, like his later victims.
