Jack Clawson (previously known as Pipeline Pete) was a man whose remains were found in an area of desert near Granger, Wyoming by pipeline surveyors.
He was identified in June 2023. It was discovered that Jack had been reported missing in 1981 after he failed to show up for a fishing trip in Missouri. No foul play is suspected in his death and it is theorized he died of exposure, though his cause of death remains officially undetermined.
