Shirley Ann Carpenter Trapp was a woman who disappeared in 2004 in Illinois. Foul play is suspected in her case.
Trapp was reported missing by a friend two days after she was last seen. It is uncharacteristic of her to leave for a prolonged period without notice. Larry Bright confessed to her presumed murder, allegedly smoked crack cocaine with Trapp, and later strangled her. Bright confessed to killing seven other women, and will probably remain incarcerated for the remainder of his life. Regardless, Trapp continues to be missing.
